Defence Innovation Network and the University of Technology Sydney invite the defence and science community to the Virtual Industry Forum focused on Human-machine Teaming & Interactions.

This event will showcase NSW’s outstanding innovations presented by universities and industry in specific areas of interest. Participants will also have a chance to interact with a number of representatives from the DST GroupRANRAAF and the Australian Army.


Augmented and mixed reality techniques for crew enhancement, training and mission rehearsal:

  • Real-time battlespace and complex combat situations
  • Spatial orientation, weapons targeting, medical personnel training, combat training
  • Vehicle, equipment and aircraft simulation

Training and Human Factors (maximising data intent, minimising data overload):

  • Maximising data intent, minimising data overload
  • Digital mapping data
  • Immersive data visualisation
