The event will feature several problem pitches delivered by the Defence and industry aligned with the STaR Shot missions and the Next Generation Technologies Fund areas.

These problems will be then challenged by the expert audience during the workshop and will form the basis of the call for proposals through the DIN Pilot Project grants.

Attendees will have an opportunity to understand the problems better, connect with like-minded people and find collaborators for their projects.

Who can attend

The event is open to academics from the DIN member universities, industry and Defence representatives interested in participating in the DIN Pilot Projects. This event will be held virtually, and teleconferencing details will be provided to attendees after the registration closing date.

Registration closes at 5 PM, Friday, 24 March 2023.
