About the Company
Metakosmos is a Sydney-based Space tech startup working on next-generation Spacesuit technologies with dual applications within Defence. Our technology aims to improve human performance in extreme conditions ( land, water & space). Areas of focus for us include advanced materials, nano fabrics, biomechanics & biosensors.
Project Objective
The project’s aim is to build a unified biomarker pipeline that can connect our hardware to our proprietary software. The objective is to identify low-power and flexible biosensors that can be integrated into our overall system as a medical body area network (MBAN) and extract the information from it onto our unified web application.
Intern Skills
The intern must have a knowledge of IoT systems and the ability to test biosensor information extraction, storage and processing. Exposure to the MedTech industry is preferable. In addition, the intern should have experience with microcontroller programming, data engineering tools, database skills, data warehousing and ETL.
Application
Applications must be submitted to info@defenceinnovationnetwork.com by 13 November 2022 and should include additional documents:
- Curriculum Vitae
- Motivation Letter
- Proof of Australian citizenship or permanent residence
(e.g. passport, birth certificate, citizenship or PR certificate)
