Vehicle Platform Integration

About the Company

REDARC is an Australian-owned and operated electronics manufacturer with 40 years of experience in the research, design, development, and manufacture of various electronic voltage converters and associated products. REDARC’s products are utilised across multiple industries and vehicles, with the ability to develop engineered solutions for complex defence capability requirements.

Project Objective

The project will develop a software toolset that allows systems integrators to minimise replication for differing vehicles when integrating proprietary vehicle CANbus networks with Generic Vehicle Architecture compliant (and other) systems. The intent is to identify a method for characterising vehicle communication platforms, develop a test environment allowing real-time interface with vehicle platforms, and generate a software algorithm to rationalise/extrapolate messages on a range of vehicle platforms.

Intern Skills

Software Engineering background with a mechanical aptitude and high-level programming skills (Python etc.).
