Synthesising Improved Ultra-high Temperature Ceramics

Project Lead Organisation:
University of Wollongong

Industry:
Gravitas Technologies

DIN Funding:
$45,000

Industry Funding:
$45,000

This collaborative team consisting of researchers from the University of Wollongong and Gravitas Technologies is developing a new Vulloy formulations that may elevate the upper operational working temperatures of these bulk materials under high temperature oxidative environmnets.

The project will significantly improve high temperature mechanical and self-healing properties of this materials that will have broad commercial and Defence usage.
