MicroTau, in collaboration with University of Sydney, are fabricating and testing the anti-fouling performance of riblet microstructures.

These coatings will prevent the accumulation of microorganisms, plants, algae, or animals on immersed surfaces, such as ship hulls, and will reduce the need for cleaning and reapplication of ship hull coatings.
