The event will feature problem pitches delivered by Defence that are aligned with Defence priority areas.

The expert audience will challenge these problems during the workshop, forming the basis of the call for proposals through the DIN Strategic Investment Initiative (SII). Attendees will be able to learn about the proposed problems, connect with problem owners and find collaborators for their project proposals.

• Advanced Design and Rapid Manufacture of Composite Propellers for Large Underwater Vehicles to Enable Heightened Efficiency, Reduced Detectability, and Extended Operational Life whilst at Sea
• S-UAS On-board Dynamic Route Planning for Moving Objects Imaging (DSTG co-funded Pilot Project)

Who can attend

The event is open to academics from DIN member universities and industry and defence representatives interested in participating in the DIN SII. The event will be held online, and teleconferencing details will be provided to attendees after the registration closing date.

Registration closes at 5 PM, Monday, 15 April 2024.
