The Next Generation Technologies Fund is seeking proposals from industry and academia detailing how you can contribute to the research objectives of Defence in cyber.

The Cyber theme seeks to leverage vibrant cyber science, technology and innovation capabilities across Australia to develop technology solutions of high relevance to Defence.

Defence interests are organised into Cyber Artificial Intelligence and Autonomy, the Human Element, Trustworthy & Resilient Systems, Situational Awareness, Mission Assurance and Threat Countermeasures and Effects.

A two-stage selection process is being employed. Stage one is a 500-word statement addressing the selection criteria. Applicants who are shortlisted will be invited to submit a stage two proposal in further detail.

Current and new collaborations with Defence Science and Technology are encouraged. Enhancing collaboration between universities and universities and industry is one goal of the NGTF program and such collaboration is encouraged.
