Defence Innovation Network  invites the Defence, industry and science community to the Industry Forum focused on Composite and Hybrid Structural Materials for Advanced Propellers.

This event is open to professionals interested in learning about the application of composite and hybrid structural materials for advanced propellers, understanding challenges and opportunities in the fields and exploring potential collaborations for future projects.

 

Areas of interest

  • Design for Manufacture – accounting for new manufacturing strategies integrating cutting-edge technologies
  • Robotic Composite Part Manufacture  – automated tape laying manufacture of composite blades
  • Additive Metallic Part Manufacture – 3D printed hub components using arc weld or similar technology

For Speakers:

Industry representatives, defence researchers, or academics from DIN member universities interested in giving a brief 7-minute pitch are invited to register their interest by COB on 24 May 2024. Please refer to the speaker’s guidelines for more information. 

For Attendees:

If you wish to attend, please register your interest by 12 PM, 3 June 2024.
