The event will feature several problem pitches delivered by Defence aligned with Defence priority areas.

The expert audience will challenge these problems during the workshop, which will then form the basis of the call for proposals through the DIN Pilot Project funding program. Attendees will be able to learn about the proposed problems, connect with problem owners and find collaborators for their project proposals.

• Fluorine-free repellency options for CBRN protective garments
• Mitigating denial of service vulnerabilities in machine learning algorithms
• Remote environmental sensing of marine phytoplankton communities using undersea and above-water platforms

Who can attend

The event is open to academics from the DIN member universities and industry and Defence representatives interested in participating in the DIN Pilot Projects. This event will be held online, and teleconferencing details will be provided to attendees after the registration closing date.
