The event will feature a problem pitch delivered by Defence that is aligned with Defence’s priority areas.

During the workshop, researchers will be able to critically engage with this problem statement, refining and shaping it into the foundation for the upcoming call for proposals under the DIN Strategic Investment Initiative that will receive $500,000 in funding. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the problem, connect directly with problem owners, and identify potential collaborators for their project proposals.

Who can attend

The event is open to academics from the DIN member universities, industry, and Defence representatives interested in participating in the DIN SII. This event will be held online, and teleconferencing details will be provided to attendees after the registration closing date.
