Cognitive Advantage is a dynamic and innovative defence technology startup in Canberra with a portfolio of mobile communications, secure networking, and distributed computing solutions. We are a veteran-owned and operated business driven to solve some of the hardest technology challenges facing the Australian Defence Force. We are about to commence a two-year project to develop a disruptive new wireless technology for defence and commercial markets.
Project Objective
Demonstrate end-to-end private 5G stand-alone networking using software-defined radios and open-source software in a lab environment.
The intern would join the research team in designing and developing the testbed and performing early-stage demonstrations.
Intern Skills
Software-defined radio programming. Testbed design and implementation. Radio frequency engineering. Modelling and simulation. Design of experiments. Data capture and analysis techniques. Data visualisation techniques.
