About the Summit
The Virtual National Defence Industry Skilling and Workforce Summit provides an opportunity for Defence to enhance collaboration with Australia’s defence industry sector to engage, attract, train and retain a highly skilled and specialised workforce to meet future defence capability needs.
The 2021 Summit will focus on young people in defence industry, considering the complex challenges and opportunities facing the next generation workforce and exploring how we can enhance young peoples’ participation in the sector. The Summit will feature representation by young people as well as participants from industry, state/territory and federal governments and the education sector.
