About the Company
Alpha Echo is a cybersecurity consultancy specialising in Cyberworthiness and Defence consulting. We have a multidisciplinary approach to cybersecurity, incorporating a variety of security specialists, intelligence analysts, behavioural scientists, educators, and engineers. This multidisciplinary approach allows us to take a holistic approach to cybersecurity.
Project Objective
The Cyber Maturity Phase 2 project aims to build a “phase 2” capability that assesses human behaviours to current, widely used cybersecurity maturity models (such as C2M2, CMMC, Essential 8).
The foreseeable deliverables of this project include evidence-based briefs, early-stage assessment tools and a body of literature reviewing current literature and focusing on how to quantitatively evaluate human factors relevant to cybersecurity controls and policy.
Intern Skills
The intern should have skills in literature review, quantitative and qualitative survey design, and an understanding of cybersecurity and malicious insiders. The intern should also have project management, presentation, and data analysis skills and be able to communicate effectively.
Additionally, specific knowledge of the topic (human factors/nudging human behaviour), cybersecurity expertise/knowledge and specific relevant knowledge of personality, attitudes and behaviours are desirable for the role.
